About OBSCURA
Built on the belief that what cinema withholds is as powerful as what it reveals.
Founded in Marseille in 2014 by two filmmakers with borrowed equipment and a shared refusal to make safe work. Ten years on, the equipment is better. The refusal is not.
We work with directors who have something to say and the craft to make it hurt. Our films travel. They stay with people.
